| today i took bagel on the motorcycle out along sunset blvd. to rustic canyon state park. bagel wore his new doggles and captured a lot of attention from other drivers and pedestrians.
we took sullivan ridge fire road and walked out towards the murphy ranch gate.
shortly after i began the hike, i realize that i forgot to bring water, and i had no map. how in the world was i going to find the abandoned graffiti building?
we circled around, paved and unpaved roads, the roads kept forking, and i just chose the path randomly.
and there we found it, the old power building, now abandoned and covered with graffiti.
i hiked alone with bagel, and since i have no one better to take pictures of, i asked bagel to pose for me.
he posed in different parts of the house.
a serious face
a little less serious heh
we didn't spend too much time there because i didn't want to get us too dehydrated, so we quickly hiked the 4 mile hike back. looking the trail up on the internet now, i realized that i hiked over 8 miles today before going to mother's day dinner, and i wasn't even that tired. i guess i'm not that out of shape anymore.
(praying that i'm not too sore tomorrow)
i have a super long work day tomorrow.

| bagel's new goggles came in the mail today. he's now geared up and ready to ride.
i think it's going to take a couple rides for him to get fully used to it tho.

| last night, prior to celebrating vicki's bday, i grabbed a quick dinner at flame broiler. i'm too greedy i always order two.
it was good, i wish there was a flame broiler right next to where i live. | | |
| i didn't get to sleep last night. at 5:15am i rode out to marina del rey for a 6am shoot. it was cold and gloomy, and the sun had yet risen.
i was asked to photograph a new diner cafe called killer cafe.
it's the only waterfront cafe with its own private dock, opens at 6am, perfect place to stop by before heading out on a fishing trip.
the manager brett and the lady working there were super friendly and hospitable. i love places like that.
